Robbery suspects arrested in Mannaar

Mannaar Police Sunday morning arrested four persons including two young women in connection with several robberies that took place few days earlier. Manaar Police said that more suspects are to be arrested soon.



Members of a gang that had gone to a house located at Keeri in Manaar town and identified them as police officials forcibly opened the doors and robbed about 17 sovereign gold jewelleries and cash of fifty thousand rupees.

Mannaar Police immediately launched inquiry into the alleged robbery following complaints and took four suspects and recovered two toy pistols, axes and iron rods, sources said.
