SLA truck collision injures two Jaffna youths

A Sri Lanka Army (SLA) truck hit and seriously injured two youths, Paul Raj (18) and Sanjeevan (22) in Kantharmadam, Jaffna, Wednesday night, Voice of Tigers (VoT), reported in its morning broadcast Thursday.

The youths have been admitted to Jaffna Teaching Hospital and are undergoing treatment, according to hospital sources.

There have been a spate of accidents involving recklessly driven Sri Lanka military vehicles and civilians in Jaffna peninsula. SLA officers have met with civilians earlier assuring them that the SLA will take stern disciplinary action on soldiers not obeying traffic laws.
