TNA leaders meet to finalize election strategy

The central working committee of the Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) and the nomination board of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) are planning to meet Wednesday (February 18) morning at the headquarters of the TULF in Colombo, party sources said.

The TULF central working committee will meet around 10 in the morning and will be presided by party president Mr. V.Anandasangaree.

The meeting of the TNA nomination will follow thereafter with Mr.Anandasangaree in the chair, party sources said.

TNA leaders and parliamentarians returned to Colombo Tuesday night from Killinochchi to attend crucial meetings of the TULF and TNA.

Earlier the TNA leaders held extensive discussion with the LTTE political head Mr.Thamilchelvan Tuesday afternoon regarding the forthcoming general election, party sources said.
