"The results of the forthcoming general election will tell the international community an important aspect of our freedom struggle. Some ask what is the use of participating in the elections. I did not have confidence in elections in the past. I have not exercised my franchise for the last fifty years. But this time the elections are to going to play a vital role. Tamils should vote for TNA to show that they accept the LTTE as the sole representative of Tamils,” said Mr.Ratnathurai.
“We appeal to Tamils to vote for symbol "HOUSE." We will not ask them to vote for any individual. Tamil voters in Jaffna district should ensure that all the nine parliamentary seats in the district go to TNA," said Mr.Ratnathurai.
