5 Tigers killed in sporadic clashes

The Voice of Tigers (VoT) said in its morning broadcast today that five Tigers were killed in different parts of the north east on Wednesday March, 18. The radio said that three Tigers were killed in a direct confrontation with the SLA troops in Karuppattamurippu on Wednesday.

They were - Thaventhiran (Sellathamby Jeyamohan, Ampara), Mathysoothy (Rasamanikkam Sivakumar, Batticaloa) and Nanthaharan (Seenithamby Meheswaran, Batticaloa).

The radio said that Pavithan (Kasippillai Mohanathas was killed in an unexpected clash with the SLA in Batticaloa and 2nd Lt. Parathy (Rasathurai Jeyasithira, Jaffna) was killed in a confrontation with the Sri Lankan government troops in Kilinochchi on Wednesday night.
