TNA MPs to attend parliament in traditional attire

The 22 Tamil National Alliance members of parliament are planning to attend the first sitting of Sri Lanka痴 parliament on Thursday in traditional Tamil attire, sources in the Vanni said.

The sources quoted a TNA MP as saying that the party痴 manifesto emphasized the concepts that the Tamils are a nation and they have the right to self-determination, and therefore the TNA MPs will express the fact that the Tamils have a unique tradition and culture in parliament.
