Black Sea Tiger Lt.Col. Hillary remembered

Lt.Colonel Hillary alias Murugesan (Ganeshan Sivagurunathan) of Anaicoddai, a member of the Black Sea Tiger who died on 30 July, 2003 in the international water in a boat mishap was remembered Monday evening, at Kopay Heros Cemetery in Jaffna district.

The parents of Lt.Colonel Killary alias Murugesan unveiled the memorial plaque, the sources said.

Earlier the photograph of Lt.Colonel Hillary was taken in a procession from his house.

Jaffna district LTTE deputy political head Mr.Semmanan garlanded he photograph and several others including Sea Tigers Vadamarachchi division head Ms Kalyani paid homage by offering flowers, the sources said.

Later a meeting was held presided by Mr.Yalivan, LTTE political activist. Sea Tigers Martyrs Unit head Mr.Sudaravan and head of Nitharsanam Television Unit of the LTTE Mr. Seralathan participated in the event.
