The release continued: "Mr. Dhanapala held discussions with Mr. Raimo Rastas, Head of the SLMM,Ampara District and the local representatives on the Committee, reviewing statistics for complaints and violations which reveal that Ampara is oneof the districts with a low number of ruled violations against GOSL as well as the LTTE. "In the afternoon Mr. Dhanapala met with Mr. Herath Abeyweera, GA for the Ampara District and civil society representatives. He briefed them on the current situation in the Peace Process and was informed by them of the developments in the district and the concerns of civil society in the area.
