Two die in accident in Thondamannaru

Eight-year-old student E.Thanushyan of Puloly died on the spot when a motorcycle and a van collided in a head on clash Tuesday morning at Thondamanaru-Kerudavil area in Vadamaradchchi division in Jaffna district. Mr.Kandiah Nandakumar (21) of Varani was pronounced dead on admission at the Jaffna teaching hospital, police said.

Two other injured Ms M.Jeyakumary ( 37 ) and her 18 year old son M.Jeyaruban were warded in the Jaffna teaching hospital. The dead and injured were travelling in the motor bicycle at the time of accident, police said

Thanushyan's body was handed over to the mortuary of the Valvettithurai hospital and Mr.Nanthakumar's body at Jaffna teaching hospital, police said.
