Pre-school opened in Paranthan-Puliyankulam

Nedunkerni Development and Rehabilitation Organization (NDRO) Thursday opened a pre-school at Paranthan Puliyankulam village in Nedunkerni division in the Vavuniya district with the financial assistance provided by the FORUT.

Mr.Paramasamy, Project Co-ordinator of the FORUT and Mr.Mariyaseelan, Grama Sevaka Office lit the traditional oil lamp.

Mr.Gnanavel, LTTE Vavuniya district political head hoitsed the Thamileelam national flag.

TRO's Vavuniya district assistant diorector Mr.Thas, NDRO's co-ordinator Mr.Wijekumar, Pre-school Educational Development ( PED) Assistant Director of Education and Ms S.Maheswary hoisted TRO, NRDO, PED and PS flags respectively. Mr.Senthooran, Vavuniya District Project officer of the Danish Refugee Council ( DRC ) univeiled the name board of the pre-school.

FORUT Sri Lanka representative declared open the pre-school. Trees were also planted to mark the occasion, sources said.
