Foundation laid for Thamileelam National hospital

Foundation stone for the Tamil Eelam National Hospital was laid at Iranaimadu in Kilinochchi, Sunday morning. Dr.Gangatharan laid the first foundation stone followed by Mr.S.P.Thamilchelvan, the Head of the Political Wing of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).

Dr.Jegarajah and Dr.Pushpa Moorthy lit the traditional oil lamp. Mr.Pon Thiyaga, Head of the Thamileelam Martyrs Department lit the flame of sacrifice.

Mr.S.P.Thamilchelvan hoisted the Tamileelam national flag.

Many expatriate medical personnel were present at the function.
