"Although we do not have adequate resources, both personnel and medical equipment, we will be able to provide much needed diagnosis, attention and medical care to patients," said Dr Yamunananthan, Director of the Hospital.

The Pannai chest clinic is part of Myliddy hospital.

Buildings that served as hospital wards in Myliddy, although equipped with health facilities, are located in the SLA demarked High Security Zone (HSZ), and are currently occupied by the SLA soldiers.
