Thamilchelvan to meet Norway's Ambassador, TNA

Head of Liberation Tigers Political Wing, S.P.Thamilchelvan is to meet Norway's Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Mr Hans Brattskar, and a representative of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) at the LTTE Peace Secretariat Building Thursday, sources in Kilinochchi said. Thamilchelvan is also expected to meet the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentarians also in Kilinochchi on the 20th March, sources added.

Thamilchelvan, Brattskar meet is expected to focus on the status of the agreements arrived at in the Geneva meeting between the LTTE and the Government of Sri Lanka, according to sources in Kilincochi Thamilchelvan will raise the continued abductions, killings and attacks by the paramilitaries working with the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) with the Norwegian ambassador, sources added.

The meeting with TNA parliamentarians will be centered on the forthcoming local council elections and the current political situation in Colombo, sources said.
