Two weeks ago students of Sampoor Maha Vidiyalayam had to flee from their classrooms to escape artillery shell attacks by Sri Lanka Navy towards the village.

The Sri Lanka government and other UN agencies, which speak about child rights and their welfare, are turning blind eye to these attacks by the SLN, said Mr.Elilan.

Sampoor MV Principal presided over the event.
