Claymore attack targets SLAF vehicle in Batticaloa, 4 wounded[TamilNet, Monday, 17 April 2006, 08:31 GMT]Two Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) personnel, a SLAF officer's wife and her daughter, were wounded when a SLAF vehicle in a Sri Lanka Army (SLA) convoy was hit by a Claymore mine Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Korakallimadu in Kiran, police said. The injured persons were tranferred to Colombo in a speacial helicopter, police said. The military convoy was heading towards Polonnaruwa from Batticaloa, the sources added.
