Elilan alleges SL army-Jihad nexus in killing Muttur Tamil youths

Mr.S.Elilan, Trincomalee district political head of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Friday made complaint to the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM) in Trincomalee that government troops in connivance with an armed Muslim Jihad group have been killing Tamil youths in Muttur to create rift and enmity between Tamil and Muslim community currently live in amity and harmony, sources said.
Mr.Elilan in a statement made on Friday said he lodged a complaint with the SLMM in Trincomalee naming two members of the Jihad militant group in Muttur who are reportedly involved in the killing of Mr.Surendran in connivance with army soldiers on Thursday morning inside his saloon.
He said that he brought this to the notice of the SLMM soon after Thursday killing. On Friday morning too a Tamil student had been shot dead in Muttur town and another injured and warded in the Muttur district hospital.
Mr.Elilan in the statement accused that the SL army is involved in an attempt in connivance with Muslim Jihad group to create rift and enmity between the Tamil and Muslim communities.
