Tamil refugees reach India[TamilNet, Tuesday, 11 August 1998, 16:19 GMT]Twenty-three Tamil refugees, including 6 women and 7 children arrived in the south Indian coastal town of Thanushkody by boat on morning of 9 August said sources. The refugees had left from Iluppaikkdavai in Mannar in north-western coast of Sri Lanka. Last month 45 refugees drowned when their boat capsized near the coast of Thanushkody.
