LTTE delegation began internal deliberations with Legal Advisor of the LTTE, V. Rudrakumaran, a New York based attorney, and Dr. Manuelpillai Paul Dominic, Professor of Law, University of Sydney, Australia.

LTTE Political Head S.P. Thamilchelvan and Tamileelam Police Chief B. Nadesan earlier addressed diaspora Tamil activists who had gathered to welcome the LTTE delegation at the Geneva Airport.

Addressing the diaspora activists, Mr. Thamilchelvan said the talks venue in Geneva provided another opportunity to the International Community to stocktake the ground realities caused by the policy of "state terrorism" on the part of the Government of Sri Lanka.
