SLA conducts search operation in Mannar

Hundreds of Sri Lankan troopers and police cordoned off and searched Mannar areas covering Moor Street, Uppukulam, and Sinnakadai from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, sources in Mannar said. All houses and vehicles in the area came under intensive search.

The security forces deployed female cadres also in the search, according to residents.

No one was arrested in the operation, sources said.
