Three die in accidents

Two Sri Lanka Army soldiers (SLA) died in Colombo when an SLA ambulance collided with a lorry at Dehiwale, a suburb of Colombo yesterday morning. The ambulance was on it's way to Ratmalana military airport to bring wounded soldiers who had been airlifted from the Vanni front to Colombo hospital.
The ambulance, which was shuttling between the airport and the hospital was totally crushed, while the lorry suffered only minor damages.
Meanwhile a Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) soldier died and another was wounded in an accident at the Vavuniya SLAF base yesterday afternoon.
