SLAF bombs Ki'linochchi suburbs, normalcy disturbed

Five bombers of the Sri Lanka Air Force flew at low altitude Friday morning and bombed southern suburbs of Ki'linochchi town. The first air raid took place at 7:40 a.m. when children were on their way to schools. Tension prevailed in the town and normalcy was disturbed.



Later, the bombers returned around 12:20 p.m. to bomb the same area.

No casualties were reported in the air attacks.

Tension prevailed in the town. People were seen taking cover in bunkers in public offices, schools and the patients at Ki'linochchi hospital were also seen seeking refuge in the bunkers.
