SLA denies permission to visit Tamil civilian arrested in Colombo Lodge[TamilNet, Monday, 18 June 2007, 17:26 GMT]Sri Lanka Army (SLA) officers have refused permission to a Point Pedro woman to travel to Colombo to visit her husband arrested in a lodge in Colombo May 28, the woman said in a compliant made to the Jaffna office of Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission(SLHRC), sources in Jaffna said. Sivalingam Indralingam, 33, a father three children and a fisherman by profession was arrested in Colombo during a recent search of the lodges by the SLA and Police. Sivalingam is being detained at Hetiyawatte police station.
