3 SLA troopers killed in Vavuniya Claymore attack[TamilNet, Tuesday, 03 July 2007, 11:54 GMT]Three Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troopers were killed when unknown assailants triggered a Claymore mine in Kalvi Road Vavuniya at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, sources in Vavuniya said. The soldiers were attached to the newly established SLA camp in Mathakuvaiththa Ku'lam. The troopers were on their way to take a bath in the local irrigation tank when the claymore mine was triggered. No other details are available.
