I'raalkuzhi IDPs to be resettled[TamilNet, Tuesday, 10 July 2007, 10:27 GMT]Officials of the Kinniya and Moothoor Divisional Secretariats are jointly taking steps to resettle about 126 Tamil families in I'raalkuzhi village in Moothoor division, civil society sources said. The villagers fled last year following military operation launched by the Sri Lanka Army. The Internally Displaced (IDP) families have been staying at Vinaayakar Maha Vidiyalayam in Aalangkea'ni and Vipulananda Vidiyalayam in Eachchantheevu located in Kinniyaa division. Temporary structures are being constructed in I'raalkuzhi village for returnees. Ferry service has resumed between I'raalkuzhi and Moothoor.
