Muslim fisherman body recovered in Naachikudaa Sea

The body of a Muslim fisherman reported missing with his boat in Pe'saalai Sea on Sunday was found floating in Naachikudaa sea Wednesday. A group of fishermen Thursday went to Naachikudaa and brought the body to the Mannaar general hospital. The victim has been identified as 38 year-old Mohamed Silmi, a father of four children, fisheries sources said.

The victim has been identified as 38 year-old Mohamed Silmi, a father of four children, fisheries sources said. The victim drowned after his boat capsized in sea due to rough weather. The victim was a resident of Karisal in Mannaar district, sources said.
