2 Tamil IDPs reported missing in Ki'liveddy

Two Tamil civilians staying in the transit welfare centre located in Ki'liveddy for internally displaced families in Trincomalee district are reported missing since Wednesday evening, according to complaints lodged with Moothoor police by their relatives.

The missing persons have been identified as Kanthasamy Sasikumar, 25, Kalikutty Muthukumar, 50.

Both left Ki'liveddy welfare camp Wednesday evening to Dehiwatte, a Sinhala colony in Serunuwara division. But they failed to return until Thursday, according to the relatives.

Moothoor police are investigating into the complaint.
