Sri Lanka Army (SLA) Thursday handed over two bodies of youths claimed to be Liberation Tigers Tamil Eelam (LTTE) combatants killed in a
clash Thursday SLA and the LTTE at Ki'laali to Jaffna Teaching
for identification by Jaffna police.
The bodies of the youths appear to be between 25 to 30 years of age and if
they are identified as LTTE cadres arrangements will be made with the
International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in Jaffna to hand over the
bodies to LTTE, hospital sources said.
SLA usually does not handover remains of LTTE cadres killed in Jaffna peninsula.
