Benazir Bhutto killed in bomb blast in Pakistan

Pakistan's Opposition Leader and former Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, who was campaigning at Rawalpindi in Pakistan, was killed in a suicide bomb blast Thursday evening, according to media reports from Rawalpindi. Ms. Benazir Bhutto, succumbed to her injuries around 6:15 p.m. at the general hospital of the city.
Ms. Benazir Bhutto, the first woman leader of a Muslim nation, had escaped an assassination attempt in October.
Around 15 persons were killed in the bomb blast.
