SL Police arrests 7 commuters in Colombo bound train

Seven commuters were taken into custody by the Sri Lankan Police Sunday night at the Lunuwila station from the Colombo bound from Puththa'lam. Majority of them are said to be Tamil civilians.

A police party rushed to Lunuwila railway station and checked every compartment of the train and took the suspects into custody. The search operation was carried out after receiving an intelligence tip-off, Police said.
