A Tamil civilian, resident of Dehiwala, has been reported missing from Saturday night after he left his mother's house at Wellawatte in a three-wheeler, according to complaints lodged with the Wellawatte police.

The three-wheeler was found abandoned along Beach Road, Wellawatte Sunday morning. The victim was identified as Edward Pathmanathan. The victim had arrived at Wellawatte to see his mother. He received a telephone call while in his mother's house. Immediately he left home in a three-wheeler, and failed to return home.
