Two young men seek protection with Jaffna HRC[TamilNet, Monday, 24 March 2008, 17:19 GMT]Two young men have sought protection with the Human Rights Commission in Jaffna claiming that they have been threatened with death by Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldiers. A young man has sought protection after SLA soldiers confiscated his identification card and ordered him to report at the near by SLA camp for further interrogation. He is in the safe custody of the HRC. The other man who is in his late 20's surrendered Monday, HRC officials in Jaffna said.
