Two SLA soldiers killed in Ampaa'rai - LTTE

Liberation Tigers officials in Ampaa'rai told media Thursday that two Sri Lanka Army soldiers, including a Sergeant, were killed in a booby trap explosion in Kagnchikudichcha-aa'ru in Ampaa'rai Wednesday around 8:00 p.m. and two soldiers sustained serious injuries when they approached an LTTE position in the jungle.

Meanwhile, residents of Kagnchikudichchaa'ru said the SLA launched mortar attacks towards their settlements after 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Travelers along the road near Kaagnchirangkudaa military camp also complained that they were beaten and harassed by the Sri Lankan troopers stationed there.
