Tamil trader abducted in Colombo

Unidentified men arriving in a white van Thursday afternoon abducted Ehamparampillai Viswanathan, 53, a father of three children, at Fourth Cross Street-Keizer Street junction in Colombo, according to complaints lodged with the Fort Police Station by his relatives on Friday.

The trader has been the owner of Lakmi Stores located along 4th Cross Street.

He was taken in a van bearing No: 54-2863.

There were four men in the van, three were in civil clothes and one in police uniform, relatives stated in their complaint.
