U.S. Embassy reopens for normal operations[TamilNet, Monday, 30 June 2008, 10:08 GMT]The U.S. Embassy in Colombo, which has been closed to the public since June 25 after a suspicious powder was found, will reopen for normal operations Tuesday, according to a press release issued by the U.S. Embassy in Colombo. An investigation determined that the powder found in the Visa section of the complex did not pose a danger.
