80-year-old woman reported missing in Mannaar

Unknown armed men riding in a white van earlier this month have abducted an 80-year-old woman in Mannaar, according to complaints lodged with the citizens committee in Mannaar by the victim's relatives.

Akilesvaripillai Kamalesvari was abducted at Keeri on 06 July around 2:30 p.m., according the complaint.

The relatives of the victim also registered a complaint with the police in Mannaar, but the news didn't reach outside world, according to a humanitarian activist engaged in documenting the disappearances in Mannaar.
