Unidentified armed men shot and killed a man in Puththa’lam in the northwestern province, Sunday around 6:50 p.m. The victim has not been identified yet, Puththa’lam police said.

The body of the victim was handed over to the Puththa’lam general hospital for identification and postmortem examination to be held. Investigation is being conducted into the killing.
