Unidentified armed men operating from a white van abducted a married man Sunday afternoon 6:30 p.m. on Batticaloa –Kalmunai road in Koaddaikkallaa’ru area within Ka'luvaagnchikkudi police division in Batticaloa district.

The victim is identified as Balasingham Sriskantharasa from outstation area and got married recently in Koaddaikkallaa’ru. No further details about the abductees is known.
