Police recover anti-aircraft gun bullets in Rajagiriya

Colombo police Tuesday recovered live bullets for anti-aircraft guns and a parcel of live bullets for T15 rifles from a drainage in the Rajagiriya area in Colombo district on a tip-off from a civilian in the area, sources in Colombo said.

Police sources said according to initial inquiry, a person riding in a black color motor bike had thrown the parcel of bullets for anti-aircraft guns and other weapons into the drainage. The Police ave launched a search operation in the area to apprehend the person, police sources said.
