Rocks damage grain ship

A ship carrying 50500 metric tons of wheat grain for the largest flour mill Southeast Asia, in Trincomalee was damaged after hit an under sea rock in the eastern port this morning around 8.30 a.m.

The ship,'Propontis', was bringing in wheat grain from Australia for milling at the Prima factory said shipping sources.

Navy divers are working to repair the ship 'Propontis'. The vessel had hit a rock near the Round Island in the harbour.
