Village officer reported missing in Batticaloa[TamilNet, Wednesday, 11 February 2009, 17:03 GMT]The Village Officer (Grama Sevaka) of Paavakkodi Cheanai in Vavu’natheevu Regional secretariat division is reported missing since Tuesday from his home in Poompukaar in Batticaloa, according to the complaint lodged with Batticaloa police, by his wife. The missing Village Officer is Selvarasa Jeyaharan, 37, the father of a child and a resident of Ka’n’naki Amman Koayil Veethi in Poompukaar. Jeyaharan had visited his sister after dropping his wife, a teacher, at Batticaloa Hindu College. His motor cycle was found at home with its key as well as the key of the house, the wife said in the complaint
