20 youths arrested in Ampaa’rai

Special Task Force (STF) commandos and police arrested twenty youths on suspicion Monday around 7:20 a.m in Second Kuruchchi in Paa’ndiruppu area in Kalmunai police division, in a joint cordon and search, sources in Kalmunai said. Two of the arrested youths have been detained.

The arrested youths were taken to Paa’ndiruppu Maa’nikappi’laiyaar Koayil first where they were subjected to body check and their National Identity Cards examined.
