Chammaanththu’rai police recovered Wednesday night the body of a youth with gun shot wounds on its head and chest on Malkampiddi Nainaakkaddu Veethi in their police division in Ampaa’rai district, informed by the residents in the area.

The body appears to be of a youth around 25 years of age who might have been abducted some days ago and killed later, the police said. The body was handed over to Chammaanththu’rai hospital by the police.
