Goldsmith reported missing with Jaffna HRC

A goldsmith from College Street near Jaffna Hindu College in Jaffna is reported missing since 5 April Sunday night after leaving home to his mother’s house in Nalloor, according to the complaint made to Jaffna Human Rights Commission (HRC) by his wife Vimaleswary.

The goldsmith reported missing is Santhanam Selvakumar, 41, a father of 3 children and a resident of College Street near Jaffna Hindu College. Selvakumar had not returned home since leaving to his motther's place. Incidents of persons disappearing mysteriously have escalated in Jaffna peninsula in recent times, HRC officials said.
