SL Police arrests Tamil man in Uppuve'li

A Tamil man was arrested in Uppuve'li in Trincomalee district and detained by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) Thursday. The Sri Lankan Police stationed in Uppuve'li said the suspect was taken into custody on receipt of information that he had maintained close links with the LTTE.

The Sri Lankan Police stationed in Uppuve'li said the suspect was taken into custody on receipt of information that he had maintained close links with the LTTE. The Sri Lankan police further said they recovered a satellite phone and locally manufactured bombs.
