Four more skeletons found in stadium grave

Investigators digging the stadium grave discovered four more human skeletons today. Two skeletons measuring 1.5 to 2 feet came into view as invetigators dug further at the Jaffna stadium grave site this morning. The skeletons are those of two children the Jaffna JMO said.

A skull and a skeleton of an adult which seems intact came into view as investigators brushed the sand from the bones embedded in the soil in the pit.

All these will be removed from soil by the JMO and his assistants for forensic examination as the excavation commences again this afternoon said sources in Jaffna.

The excavation work at the stadium grave site will stop today and will resume on April 15 they said.
