Police seek politicians’ help to arrest election violators

One hundred fifty eight suspects are evading arrest for violating election law. The Sri Lanka Police have now appealed to all political parties to extend support to them to arrest these evading suspects, Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police, Gamini Navaratne told media Monday.

Already 79 suspects have been arrested for violating the elections laws, the police said.
