Tamil businessman abducted in Wellawatte

Unidentified men arriving in a white van abducted a Tamil businessman from his shop in Wellawatte Monday night, according to a complaint made to Wellawatte police by his relatives. The police said they are investigating into the abduction to ensure whether he was abducted for ransom or personal enmity.

The abducted businessman is Krisnathas, 27, a resident of Vihara Lane in Wellawatte who had opened his shop recently.
