Missing Tamil trader found dead

The body of a Tamil trader Kanapathy Gunaratnam, 52, who was reported missing since Wednesday morning was recovered in Wellawatte Thursday morning, according to initial reports from the Wellawatte Police. The trader was a resident of Alwis Town in Wattala, a suburb in Colombo.

The trader was a resident of Alwis Town in Wattala, a suburb in Colombo. Gunaratnam left his home in Wattala to have a hair cut in the nearly saloon Wednesday morning around 10 but failed to return thereafter, according to complaints lodged by his relatives to the Wattala police station the same day.
