Rudra faction ‘expels’ democrats of TGTE

The ‘speaker’ of the TGTE Assembly, Pon Balarajan, belonging to Rudrakumaran faction of the TGTE, sent letters on Saturday to elected members of the TGTE who identified themselves as Democrats that they were ‘expelled’ from the TGTE Assembly. This has happened despite Democrats members on Friday publicly reiterated an oath of allegiance to the concept of the TGTE and the Assembly. With pretext or without pretext, the Rudra faction in the TGTE has decided to ‘get rid of’ Democrats in order to move in a hurried way to materialize a pre-conceived agenda, sources close to Democrats alleged.
