Tigers hand over 15 SLA bodies

The Liberation Tigers handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) this morning 15bodies of the Sri Lankan Army (SLA) soldiers killed in the fighting on Sunday.

The bodies were handed over at Mallavi, 8 km. west of Mankulam.

An ICRC official said that the bodies have been brought to Vavuniya through Mankulam.

The SLA will receive the bodies after identifying them, the official said.
